The idea of opening an exchange office in St. Moritz as well stems from the owner's passion for the Engadine and her work experience in banking, as well as the later resumption of family activities in Ticino.

After her studies, she spent more than 10 years in banking, first at UBS where she began her professional career thanks to the «allround» training she received at the bank, and later at Clariden Leu, which later became Credit Suisse following the merger between the two banks. Loaded with professional and personal knowledge and stimuli acquired over the years thanks to these two giants,

 

decided to leave banking to pursue the family business: today's Lugachange SA, created by his father in 1982, and RealShop SA, founded by his grandfather in 1952. The latter has enjoyed strong expansion in recent years, dividing its time between a petrol station and several exchange offices.

  • We offer a “wholesaler” service (supplying foreign currency, mainly euros, to exchange offices and petrol stations in Ticino);

 

  • We offer the online foreign exchange service, mainly offered to small and medium-sized companies that need Euros to purchase raw materials or goods from neighbouring markets (mainly Italy) or receive payment for goods in foreign currency. Cross-border commuters exchanging salaries or locals needing Euros for cross-border purchases or holidays;

 

  • We are present in Ticino with several exchange offices aimed directly at the end customer (border crossers, companies, shops, premises) and located in: Lugano centre, Loreto (Lugano Sud), Ponte Tresa, Melide, Centro Breggia in Balerna, Novazzano and Pedrinate. In order to extend our coverage of the Ticino territory, we started a collaboration with ECSA Energy SA, owner of 17 distributors, by opening some exchange offices at its petrol stations.
